As Zoysia lovers.com would encourage you to make the best decision for you, your lot, and the environment, you need to consider the facts carefully. One of the first facts deals with cost and in many parts of the country this is a major expense, yards are expensive and a Zoysia lawn is no exception. Having a good understanding of not just the up-front cost but also the value of your time and effort or someone else's time and effort neither of which are free of course. Many of you may be familiar with the term ROI or Return On Investment and just like being in the stock market or owning your own business there is a level of ROI when it comes to your yard.
Perhaps you would rather be out mowing your regular grass sweeting in the hot sun than finishing up a round of golf and headed for the club house. I can't say for you, I know that I would rather be headed for the 19th green after having walked on the zoysia fairways that someone else had cared for, cut, and fed.
