Yet to Grow Zoysia misses Winter 2010-11
Here you can see the Zoysia spider on target to take over this corner of the driveway.
Looking west you can see the gap between the downhill growth and the curb is getting smaller it is about 6-8 feet.
Here you see the crabapple tree is surrounded and we are just waiting for the thickness to come!

Frost of 2010
This is a bitter sweet time of year here in SW Ohio for those Zoysia growers. The coming of the first frost means that my precious Zoysia has dormentated, so it wouldn't be long until I can determine the growth for the year, and now the sweetness begins while my neighbors continue to mow those green weeds they refer to as grass I can sit back and what mow/chop up my leaves.... But then with one more mow extra close those leaves will blow across the street (sorry Brenda). This off season, I am considering moving some dormant plugs into areas that haven't been covered in an attempt to spread the Z all that much faster... Bring on the tan!
